One would think that the law is the law and that each county throughout the state is identical in how they apply those laws. However, the truth is that each county makes their own local court rules, and every judge applies laws and rules differently, even when in the same county. Lake County Superior Court is comprised of four Superior Court Judges and one Court Commissioner. Each of these judges have their own expectations and requirements of attorneys. Combine this with the fact that the Lake County Superior Court is overburdened with cases, often not even having enough seats in the courtroom for all cases on calendar, and it makes appearing in court even more stressful on you. It is imperative that you hire a local Lake County criminal defense or family law attorney, familiar with the local courts, that can navigate this system with your interests in mind, while reducing the stress that you are already going through. At Carrion Law Offices we have appeared in front of all of the sitting judges in Lake County and know what is expected. Further, we are familiar with all the intricacies of the local court and prosecutor’s office, as well as the resources available within the county.
Within Lake County is Clearlake; the largest natural freshwater lake entirely within the boundaries of California, with 68 square miles of surface. This lake coupled with vast vineyards and Lake County being a major thoroughfare to the scenic California Coast, has brought residents and visitors from many aspects of life. Each and every person has their own interests when it comes to their legal matters. At Carrion Law Offices we want to know about you so that we can effectively represent your interests. No two people are alike and what works for one person could be catastrophic for another. Our Lake County attorneys have successfully represented local residents; law enforcement officers; elected officials; as well as visitors to the area.
When you are charged with a crime, including DUI, or dealing with a family law matter involving child custody, child support, and divorce, there is a lot of personal information that you want to share confidentially with your attorney. You do not want to explain your personal issues to one person and then see another, who knows nothing about you, when you appear in court. At Carrion Law Offices, while the attorneys in our office may work together to provide you the best representation possible, we do not farm out our cases. The Lake County attorney that you hired will be the one personally representing you. It is through the personal service we provide our clients that we achieve the best results and why we maintain a 10 out of 10 rating on AVVO.
